Support for the program to boost the tourism sector in Mexico

The general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the Government of Mexico, through the National Fund for Tourism Promotion (FONATUR), in strengthening its institutional and strategic capacities to promote, in line with Plan México, a more sustainable, diversified, and territorially impactful tourism development model. To this end, the TC will finance analyses, proposals, and technical inputs aimed at strengthening FONATUR's institutional and financial capacity, supporting the diversification of the tourism offer toward higher value-added products, and contributing to stronger productive linkages that broaden the distribution of tourism's economic benefits across communities.
