Solar homes and efficient wood stoves in the rural sector

Support SENER in the design and implementation of the programs under the Energy Justice Axis, established in the National Strategy for the Electric Sector: (i) Photovoltaic Panels and Energy Efficiency Program for Households in Warm Climate Regions; and (ii) National Program for Efficient and Clean Cookstoves in Households that Cook with Firewood. The specific objectives are: (i) to support the design of the Photovoltaic Panels and Energy Efficiency Program for Households in Warm Climate Regions, including the selection of measures, their technical and economic evaluation, definition of scope and targets, development of the monitoring and evaluation methodology, as well as the organization and logistics for its implementation; (ii) to support the identification of the different components of the program that impact its results and to weigh them according to their level of impact; (ii) to support the design of the National Program for Efficient and Clean Cookstoves in Households that Cook with Firewood, including confirmation of its scope and targets, the awareness and training plan for the communities where the program will be implemented, the development and application of the monitoring and evaluation methodology, as well as the identification of improvements in its operation; and (iii) to support the participating institutions through the identification and implementation of operational improvements, training and capacity-building of their personnel, and the development of tools and systems to optimize program implementation and outcomes.
