Project Status: Implementation
The objective of this TC is to support the Mexican Social Security Institute (IMSS) and other public childcare providers to develop a system of quality assurance that includes (i) on-the-job training and a mentoring strategy for caregivers; and (ii) a rapid quality assessment tool to routinely monitor process quality. Emphasis will be placed on the design of hybrid strategies that combine in-person and remote support; have a strong experiential (practical) training component, guided by a mentor; and primarily focus on promoting and improving caregiver-child interactions in the performance of all types of activities and routines in the childcare center.
