Support to the Strengthening Program for Urban Development Reform and Territorial Planning II
The general objective of technical cooperation is to contribute to Secretary of Agrarian, Territorial and Urban Development (SEDATU) efforts to implement General LAW of Human Settlements, Land Management and Urban Development (LGAHOTDU) at the subnational level. To achieve this objective, it will specifically seek to: (i) strengthen the regulatory framework for urban development; (ii) coordinate the implementation of the LGAHOTDU at the local level; and (iii) evaluate the efforts to implement this Law. Several of the technical cooperation products will allow the goals of the ME-L1266 and ME-L1294 loans to be deepened, systematically lowering the products at the state and municipal level.
