ME-T1260 : Institutional Capacities for State Policies for Productivity

The general objective of this Technical Cooperation is to foster and support the building up of the capacities to design and manage State-level policies for the improvement and democratization of productivity in Mexico, and foster the institutional strengthening of the States at a relatively lower level of development to reduce their poverty through employment creation and productivity improvements. The specific objective is the support to the creation and strengthening of the State Productivity Councils, specifically those in the States at relatively lower levels of development. In order to achieve this objective various activities will be carried out, including the analysis of existing capacities in Mexican States and at the Federal level to design and manage productive development policies, the strengthening of linkages among actors, and the strengthening of the governance and capacity of relevant institutions.
