ME-T1204 : Renewable Energy Knowledge Management Program

The objective of this Technical Cooperation, which is part of the ¿Mexico Public ¿ Private Sector Renewable Energy Program¿, is to generate and disseminate a series of knowledge products summarizing the experiences gained during the preparation, negotiation, planning, implementation and operation stages of Renewable Energy projects existing and being negotiated, as a way to make public information that will be useful for people intending to participate in Renewable Energy projects in Mexico and abroad. Based on an analysis of existing information, experiences shared during the events to be organized as part of the TC, and interviews with relevant actors, such as land owners, project developers, communities and governmental institutions, the TC will analyze the regulatory, technical, environmental, social and financial aspects of the projects. The analysis of the social aspects will be based mainly in the ¿Local social and gender impacts study¿, developed in a separated TC.
