Standardization of Accounting and Transparency in Microfinance Services

The objective is to promote transparency in the management of financial information among the non-regulated microfinance institutions that are members of the Prodesarrollo network. It will support the elaboration of a standardized plan of accounts for the network and its implementation among its members, so that they report their information in a consistent form. Prodesarrollo will certify those members that comply. Other mechanisms to promote transparency will be promoted. These standards will be promoted among other programs that support microfinance in Mexico.
