Someone Somewhere: Promoting Sustainable Economic Opportunities for Artisans and Workers in the Textile Industry
The objective of the project is to create economic opportunities for artisans and employees in the textile sector, with a special focus on southern Mexico, and to promote sustainable textile production. To this end, IDB Lab will help finance the expansion of Someone Somewhere, a social impact enterprise that integrates the work of artisans in the design and manufacture of innovative, high value-added products, which are marketed through a responsible value chain.
