The General Objective of this TC is to provide technical and implementation support to GOJ to strengthen the performance, competitiveness, and reliability of the energy sector. The specific objectives are: (i) to support the development of technical inputs and analytical studies related to ongoing energy sector challenges, with a focus on improving electricity affordability and supporting regulatory reform and sector planning; and (ii) to strengthen the capacity of the Executing Unit of projects 3877/OC-JA and GRT/ER-16412-JA in procurement processes, sector dialogue, and stakeholder engagement.
