Reactivating Key Productive Sectors for Growth Post-Hurricane Melissa

To strengthen the policy and strategic planning framework for economic recovery, sustainable growth, and productivity in Jamaica. The specific objectives are to: (i) update Jamaica's Growth-Inducement Strategy to identify and prioritize strategic interventions that address structural constraints, leverage emerging opportunities, and guide evidence-based policy, planning, and public investment decisions; and (ii) update the National Five-Year Manufacturing Growth Strategy for Jamaica (2020–2025), and develop an Industry Transformation Roadmap for a priority manufacturing subsector to strengthen manufacturing competitiveness through innovation, technology adoption, productivity enhancement, and industrial upgrading.
