Support to the Financial Sector Reform in Jamaica

This Technical Cooperation will support the Financial System Reform Support Program II (JA-L1076) of the Government of Jamaica, which aims to enhance the contribution of the financial sector to economic growth by: (i) enhancing financial stability; (ii) increasing financial inclusion; and (iii) improving the financial and business legal framework.
The objectives of this TC are to: (i) Enhance Financial Stability, which will be accomplished through supporting the implementation of the Financial Resolution Regime (FRG) and the Deposit Insurance Scheme; and (ii) Increase Financial Inclusion, which will involve supporting the National Financial Inclusion Strategy (NFIS).
