JA-T1047 : Support the Design of Decentralized Road Maintenance
Project Status: Closed
The TC objective is to assist the MTW in the development and improvement of NWA¿s institutional capacity to efficiently implement the performance based maintenance contracts. The results oriented contracts aim at ensuring existing and future resources of the Road Maintenance Fund are used in the most cost-effective manner. The proposed program will assist in the development of a road maintenance system, including the development of maintenance standards, an evaluation system for tracking contractors¿ performance, and island-wide dissemination of the program.
