Enhancement NGO Documentation & Resource Centre Facilitate Access by Disabled C.

This project will enable CVSS' Information, Documentation and Resource Centre to provide capacity-building services for NGOs and Community Bases Organizations (CBOs) that serve the disability sector, which until recently had not been considered in development planning for the Voluntary sector. The new services will also be accessed by those interested in becoming part of the voluntary community to serve the disabled, as well as teachers and others who serve different groups in the disabled community, thereby exposing them to equipment and materials which can improve access to services and quality of life for the disabled. In the long run, it is expected to be a model of best practice in the disabled community for Jamaica and the Caribbean.
