JA-M1020 : JNCB - Expansion of financial services for small enterprises
Project Status: Closed
The project's objective is to contribute to the expansion of commercial financing to small enterprises in Jamaica. Its purpose is to strengthen the technical and institutional capacities of Jamaica National Commercial Bank to provide financing to small enterprises. The project will contribute to the development of financial products oriented towards this segment, to build and deploy a new credit risk analysis framework, and to train bank credit personnel. The final beneficiaries will be small entrepreneurs with total exposure in the financial system of between US$10.000 and US$100.000.
