Skills Development for Strategic Jamaican Industries

The overall objective is to foster the development of key strategic economic sectors. The specific objectives are: (i) to improve TVET system's capacity to align workers´ skills with the three prioritized industries' requirements; and (ii) to improve the country capacity to increase exports and attract FDI in manufacturing and logistics. The achievement of these objectives will contribute to the general objective of fostering the development of key strategic economic sectors.
