Human Capital Protection Program

The Human Capital Protection Programme aims to: (i) protect basic health, education and safety net spending during the economic downturn; and (ii) improve the effectiveness of reforms to important social safety net programmes. In addition, the Bank¿s strategy includes concomitantly financing two technical cooperations to perform upstream analytical work related to the social reforms and evaluate the policy reforms promoted by the PBL programmatic loans.
