HO-T1351 : Knowledge Exchange in Tools to Improve Public Spending Quality: Lessons from Peru and Implications for Honduras

The objective of the exchange is for officials from the Ministry of Finance (SEFIN) and the Ministry of General Government Coordination (SCGG) to acquire tools to improve the quality of public spending in Honduras, based on experience in managing the Results-Based Budget (RBB) of Peru, who since 2000 have implemented methodologies, tools for performance monitoring (budgetary and physical execution), the use of budgetary incentives as well as the creation of a specialized unit, called the Directorate of Quality of Public Expenditure.
