Program for childhood food Security, Health and Nutrition and community interventions in poor areas of Honduras

Objectives: (1) improve capacity in rural areas to implement and maintain education programs to improve health and nutrition; (2) establish coordination and operational links with the health centers of the national Health Ministry for the elaboration and execution of programs for ongoing training, support and service delivery; and (3) improve availability, access, consumption and use of food in a sufficient, adequate, and sustainable way to achieve the reduction of malnutrition in children.
