The overall objective is to promote the improvement of solid waste management in the study area , the specific objectives of the Technical Cooperation are: (i) generating a diagnosis to know more depth level state services Waste solid Waste that are provided in the urban centers of Tegucigalpa and Comayagüela, the two "twin " cities are the capital of Honduras; and (ii) on the basis of an integrated and participatory approach built under diagnosis, propose an improvement plan that addresses the requirements of the city in terms of the services. While the plan should propose solutions for particular areas in the central area of the city (Tegucigalpa and Comayagüela) and points identified specific pollution, including zonda download (urban drainage) and river edges, and the area of markets.
