Roads Integration Program II
The objective of the program is to contribute to increase productivity and national and regional integration in Honduras, by improving the quality of its road infrastructure. The specific objective of the project is to improve the level of service of two of the roads of the CEINRH, specifically the Logistic and Touristic Corridors, by increasing lanes and rehabilitating sections of the road which will result in a decrease of vehicle operating costs and travel times for users. The focus on these two corridors is due to the current scheme of PPP in Honduras, the concession of the Logistics and Touristic Corridors, and that the GOH has committed to deliver some improved and rehabilitated road sections to the concessionaire for its operation and maintenance.
