Programmatic Support for Structural Reforms in the Electricity Sector

The general objective of the programmatic series and this second operation is to support the Government of Honduras in implementing the sector reforms and policies needed to enhance financial sustainability, operational efficiency, and security of supply in the electricity sector. The specific objectives are to: (i) strengthen the sector¿s institutional capacity and regulatory framework; (ii) enhance financial sustainability and operational efficiency; and (iii) adopt energy policies aimed at ensuring a secure supply of electricity.
