Passenger Terminal Development Plan and Roadmap for the Expansion of Cap-Haïtien International Airport
General Objective: Support the Government of Haiti in preparing a Master Plan for Cap-Haïtien International Airport, with an emphasis on the development and modernization of the passenger terminal, to define the airport's infrastructure, operational, financing, and management needs in the short, medium, and long term, while generating the technical inputs required to structure future sustainable investments and a potential IDB financing operation. Specific Objectives: (i) Prepare the technical, operational, financial, and institutional studies required to define the future development of Cap-Haïtien International Airport; (ii) Identify and assess investment, management, and private-sector participation alternatives aimed at improving the airport's capacity, efficiency, sustainability, and resilience; and (iii) Generate the technical inputs required to structure future financing operations by the IDB and the IDB Group in Haiti's airport subsector.
