Technical assistance aimed at supporting the preparation of the technical studies required for the structuring of a public-private partnership in the energy sector

The general objective of this technical cooperation will be to carry out the due diligence and pre-feasibility studies for a renewable energy project and the rehabilitation of existing equipment, under a PPP scheme, in the northern region of the country. The specific objectives are: (i) to assess electricity demand and the existing electricity infrastructure and assets in the Cap-Haïtien area, including their current condition; and (ii) to carry out technical, legal, and financial analyses to define the optimal alternative and the most appropriate procurement modality.
