Supporting social protection and labor inclusion of the most vulnerable: early childhood development, temporary income, socioeconomic inclusion of youth

The Technical Cooperation (TC) aims to provide operational support to the Social and Economic Fund (FAES, in French) in the development and implementation of the IDB-financed operations in Haiti. Given the complexity and scale of activities, FAES requires enhanced operational support, which will be provided through: (i) strengthening FAES's operational capacity, including contract management, monitoring, and reporting; (ii) assisting the Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor (MAST) in advancing the labor intermediation platform (4657/GR-HA); and (iii) supporting the Early Childhood Development (ECD component of 5894/GR-HA through the Reach Up and Learn (RUL) program implemented by the Pan-American Health Organization (PAHO). RUL focuses on play-based activities and nurturing adult/parent-child interactions in vulnerable environments.
