Pilot Project to Provide Capacity Building for Cleft Lip andPalate Care in Haiti

The specific objectives of this project are to: (a) train a cadre of local doctors from each of the country¿s ten departments in order to increase coverage of cleft-trained medical personnel throughout Haiti, and (b) to determine if the pilot project in Haiti can serve as a model for similar capacity building programs of doctors and affiliated cleft lip treatment personnel throughout the LAC region.
