Support for the Integrated Mgmnt of the Upper Parts of Priority Watersheds in HA
The objective of the proposed technical cooperation is to support the preparation of the NWMP (HA0033), with particular attention to the complementary GEF project (HA-X1002), in order to reduce and reverse land degradation in the upper parts of watersheds lying in the western portion of the southern peninsula and in the western part of the Grande Riviere du Nord Watershed. The long-term goal of the GEF project is to contribute to improving residents' livelihoods and economic well-being by promoting the recovery of environmental services to the downstream portions of the priority watersheds of the NWMP.
