Purpose : to improve the competitiveness of the 8 cooperatives members of the "KOPKAB" network (Cooperation of Coffee Growers Cooperatives of Belle Anse).
Component 1. Institutional and entrepreneurship reinforcement
- To train the cooperatives staff in management, accounting, finance¿ and entrepreneurship
- To support the implementation of a management system
- To design business plans
- To facilitate access to credit institutions
Component 2. Quality improvement
- To design and implement a quality control and monitoring system
- To provide small equipment (scale, humidity-meter¿)
Component 3. Marketing
- To design promotion tools (brochures, video¿)
- To participate to international coffee fairs
- To support negotiations with buyers
Component 4. Networking
- To organize meetings with other partners in Haiti (especially with cooperatives from Baptiste region)
- To facilitate the design of joint action plans (on marketing¿)
