Rebuilding Access to Essential Health Services

To reduce avoidable mortality and disability, the general objective of the project is to improve the use of essential health services by the people in targeted communities that are currently underserved. The specific objectives are, in targeted communities, to: (i) extend the coverage of an integrated and progressive package of health services; (ii) gradually improve the response capacity of the network of health facilities serving those communities; and (iii) foster users' participation in the care of their health.
