THE GENERAL OBJECTIVE OF THE PROGRAM IS TO SUPPORT THE DIVERSIFICATION AND FURTHER EXPANSION OF GUYANA'S ECONOMY THROUGH IMPROVEMENT IN THE INFRASTRUCTURE BASE. IN PARTICULAR THE PROGRAM SEEKS TO REHABILITATE CRITICAL BRIDGES THAT CONNECT ECONOMICALLY IMPORTANT REGIONS.
