The objective of this Technical Cooperation is to strengthen the Government of Guyana's institutional, legal, and technical capacity to design, adopt, and verify the policy reforms established under the Biodiversity Conservation and Natural Capital Framework for Guyana's Sustainable Development (GY-L1090), enabling the country to consolidate a unified biodiversity governance architecture, translate its leadership of the Global Biodiversity Alliance into concrete domestic reform, and mobilize biodiversity finance at scale.
