GY-T1118 : Design and Execution of a Labor Force Survey

The main objectives of this technical cooperation are: (i) designing and executing a Labor Force Survey (LFS) in Guyana; and (ii) creating the local technical capacity within the Bureau of Statistics so that the agency could continue collecting this information on their own, including such activity within the National Statistical System. This survey will provide accurate and updated information on unemployment levels of the economically active population, job creation and job destruction, the composition of the labor force in terms of education, gender and other demographic characteristics of interest
