GY-T1114 : Enhancing Statistical Capacities of Guyana

The general objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the institutional strengthening of the Guyanese national statistics system. The specific objectives are to (i) conduct a thorough assessment of the Bureau of Statistics of Guyana¿s institutional capacity to carry out its functions as a core agency of the NSS and comply with the data requirements of the Post-2015 Development Agenda, (ii) create a National Strategy for the Development of Statistics and (iii) provide initial capacity building support in select areas.
