Strengthening Civil Society Participation in Poverty Reduction and Development

The specific objectives are: (i) To strengthen and expand the operational framework of CSAG/C to allow for strategic alignment with the 2008-2012 IDB Country Strategy for Guyana, enhanced partnerships with additional strategic non-governmental organizations including those at a decentralized level; (ii) to upgrade the existing capacities of representative organizations of CSAG/C and (iii) to enhance the role of CSAG/C in IDB/Guyana development discourse and action through the development and implementation of a flexible partnership model.
