Supporting the PRSP: Towards the Institutionalization of a M&E Framework
This project will help support the Government of Guyana in the preparation for a new Poverty Reduction Strategy and the development of mechanisms for linking the Strategy to the budget. In addition, the project will support the design and testing of a monitoring and evaluation system to measure the effectiveness of the Government's efforts to reduce poverty in Guyana. The project will focus on institutionalizing the Strategy within the permanent government agencies, moving beyond the current ad hoc arrangement in the Office of the President.
