Support for the Youth Development and Empowerment Program

Objective: The objective of the program is to support the design of the Youth Development and Empowerment Program , a comprehensive intervention for youth which will consist of both remedial and rehabilitative measures for youth-at-risk as well as preventive measures to reduce and prevent school drop out and other behavior that may lead to anti-social conduct among youth in Guyana. A further objective is to strengthen those government divisions servicing youth as well as the Youth Division of the Ministry of Education, Youth and Culture in its policymaking, planning, and coordination role.
