Valentina Program: Disruptive Model to Accelerate the Placement of Disadvantaged Youth in Technology Jobs
The objective of the project is to place disadvantaged Guatemalan youth, primarily women, in knowledge-based jobs. This objective will be achieved by providing training in technology and socioemotional skills to low-income youth, including indigenous populations, so that they can be hired by the companies that need these skills. This project is expected to help increase the number of women employed in technology jobs and thus narrow the salary gap between women and men.
