Knowledge Exchange between Guatemala and Ecuador in Land Titling
This CT Intra aims to exchange experiences between the Executing Agency (RIC ) of the IDB Loan " Establishing Cadastral Registry & Strengthening Legal Certainty in Protected Areas" in Guatemala ( GU-L1014) , and institutions responsible for cadastre and land titling in Ecuador.
The specific objectives are to:
- Analyse alternatives methodologies for land surveys.
- Compare Institutional arrangements for Cadastre and Land Titling.
- Incentives to regularize land titles.
- Computer Platform installed in the municipalities to manage in an integrated manner land-use, property assessment , tax collection.
- Uses for a Multifunctional Cadastre.
