GU-T1135 : Integral disaster risk management capacity strengthening

The main objective of this TC is to stregthen the Government of Guatemala in integral risk management, supporting at the same time the preparation and implementation of an agenda of climate change. The specific objectives are: i) to contribute to the dialog and implementation of the National Policy and the National Strategy of integral disaster risk management, which will include climate change topics in the decision making process ii) to strengthen CONRED (the national agency in charge of disasters prevention) and SEGEPLAN (national agency in charge of planning); and iii) to sistematize the available information to design an national framework for financial protection.
