Design and Installation of Electronic Moveable Property Registry
The objective of this project is to assist the Guatemalan Ministry of Economy (MINECO) to design and make fully functional a hybrid electronic registry in order to permit the creation, perfection, and enforcement of security interests in moveable and personal property (equipment, animals, documents, accounts receivables, inventory, fixtures, etc.) as contemplated and required by Decree 51-2007 (Law on Secured Transactions) and its associated regulation. In order to achieve this objective, the project is structured into three components.
