Support to the Design of "Desde Lo Rural" Program
This technical cooperation will support efforts of the Guatemalan government to improve the quality of life of rural populations, promoting indigenous-owned businesses, employment generation, social inclusión and land competitiveness. Its specific objectives are: (a) identifying land and economic activities that have the potential to achieve a high level of change and produce a positive impact on income generation, creating sustainable employment and expanding the base of indigenous-owned businesses in the rural arena; and (b) supporting activities to coordinate the design and preparation of the "Desde lo Rural" Economic Development Program.
