GU-M1043 : Improving Child Nutrition through Social Franchising in the Western Highlands of

The project aims to expand health services focused on maternal and child health through its network of private sector health providers, primarily in the Western Highlands of Guatemala. This private sector network, known as Red Segura, focuses primarily on family planning, but creates a unique opportunity to expand into more integrated service delivery around mothers and their children. The goal of the program will be to improve the health of children aged six to 24 months by improving knowledge and feeding practices of caregivers.
