Support for the Implementation of the Universal Energy Access Program in El Salvador

Provide technical and operational support to the Executive Hydroelectric Commission of the Río Lempa (CEL) to facilitate the effective implementation of the Universal Energy Access Program in El Salvador (PAUE), ensuring compliance with the milestones established in the implementation schedule and the proper application of the Bank's technical, fiduciary, and operational standards. This technical cooperation seeks to help accelerate the implementation of the planned investments and maximize the program's impact on beneficiary communities. The specific objectives are to: (i) develop enabling technical and operational inputs required for the implementation of the PAUE, including designs, technical specifications, and/or monitoring tools; and (ii) strengthen CEL's and Cuscatlán Electric Distribution Company's (DEC) institutional and operational capacities for the management, supervision, and monitoring of energy access programs.
