Support for El Salvador's Data Infrastructure Development Program
The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to support the Government of El Salvador in enhancing governance by developing and strengthening the information technology infrastructure (data center) necessary to improve the management, storage, accessibility, and security (sovereignty) of state data. The TC will also support the loan operation "Program for the Development of El Salvador's Data Infrastructure" (ES-L1168). The specific objectives of the TC are: i) Define the roadmap for El Salvador National Data Infrastructure Plan; ii) Analyze and strengthen the capacities of the Secretariat of Innovation of the Presidency (SIP) for the effective execution of the program; and iii) Develop and reinforce the regulatory and institutional framework for the implementation of the National Data Infrastructure Plan of El Salvador.
