Supporting financing MSMEs investment in Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in El Salvador
The objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to enhance the institutional capacity and effectiveness of El Salvador's Development Bank (BANDESAL), enabling it to more effectively support and finance the development, implementation, and scaling of projects for Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) in the fields of sustainability, innovation, Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy. This will involve strengthening BANDESAL's financial products, technical assistance capabilities, and policy frameworks to foster sustainable economic growth, innovation, and environmental responsibility within MSMEs, while aligning with national and global objectives for energy transition and climate change mitigation.
