Strengthening climate resilience of hydropower generation in El Salvador

The General Objective of this Technical Cooperation (TC) is to increase El Salvador's capacity to address the vulnerability of hydroelectric generation in the face of the consequences of climate change (CC). The Specific Objectives are: to analyze the climate vulnerability of hydroelectric generation and identify technical and ecosystem-based adaptation measures with economic viability; and to strengthen the institutional capacities of the electricity sector and key stakeholders to integrate climate resilience criteria into the planning and operation of hydroelectric generation.
