Support for the Promotion of a Safe, Inclusive and Productive Mobility in El Salvador
The objective of this Technical Cooperation is to promote a safe, inclusive and productive mobility of the population based on the use of innovative technologies and tools that allow improving the conditions of pedestrian, cyclist and public transport traffic in vulnerable sectors (urban and rural), Through the collection of current data that allow to formulate strategies in the matter of public policies and in coordination with the Ministry of Public Works and Transportation (MOPT), its Vice Ministry of Transportation (VMT) and the National Road Safety Council (CONASEVI) of El Savior. Specifically, it seeks that improvements in the mobility of people in dense areas and vulnerable sectors promote the creation of new sources of employment, enterprises, safe access to educational or production centers, among others.
