Updating of the transport model and travel distribution matrix for the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador

This TC aims to provide a new updated O-D matrix for the passenger trip patterns and the corresponding transport model for the Metropolitan Area of San Salvador. The current matrixes have not been significantly updated for more than ten years, therefore several adjustments are required to consider variations in quantity and distribution of trips. These elements are the basis of appropriate urban transportation planning, traffic management and operations.
