Support for Competitive Transition of Agriculture and Rural Economy
The long-term objective is to develop national and regional strategies for a competitive transition of agriculture and the rural economy of El Salvador in light of further trade liberalization. The nearer-term objective is to develop recommendations to ameliorate the impact of trade liberalization on rural households and help them take advantage of the opportunities presented by the agreement.
