Strengthening of Capabilities of Tourism Guides for Tour. Destinations In El Sal
General objective: Improve the competitiveness of SMEs of the tourism industry by strengthening the capabilities and skills of tourism guides of El Salvador.
Specific objectives: a) Design and implement a continuous training Program for existing and new tourism guides, aimed to achieve formalization and professionalization, and improve the quality of the service; b) To promote, through normalization of tourism guide services, the procedures, information requirements, tourist safety, protection of nature and cultural patrimony, and quality standards, needed in the development of the activity of the Guides. c) Establish a sustainability mechanism for Program, through the conformation of an associative group of Tourism Guides that adopts and continues the activities of the program.

Program description:
Component 1: "Design a product for Tourism Guides". Component 2: "Organization of the Tourism Guides ".
Component 3: "Access to the market".
Note: The names and content of the componentes are established according to the Guidelines of Sustainable Tourism Cluster.
