Strengthening Specialized Hospital Care in El Salvador

The overall development objective of the project is to contribute to improving the Ministry of Health of El Salvador's (MINSAL) specialized, high-complexity medical care services for adults, in terms of their timeliness, quality, and efficiency. The specific objectives are: (i) to strengthen and complement the hospital service network—with quality and efficiency—through the establishment of high-complexity services; and (ii) to improve the organization and coordination of the national hospital network.
